Join us for the first meeting of our Gardening Series: Grow It!

It’s the right time to start thinking of spring! We’ll be discussing all thing SEEDS.

The evening will include examples of seed starting equipment: potting mixes, cell trays, and recycled/reused materials. There will be an opportunity to try soil blocking – a container-free method of seed starting.

Whether you're looking for a new hobby or are an experienced gardener, we encourage you to join us to ask questions, learn, and share your gardening know-how on the first Wednesday evening of every month on the Library 3rd floor. 

This series will be hosted by Essex resident, Holly Read.  Holly used her gardening talents and her own cut-flower garden to create the successful Bouquets for the Library fundraiser last summer.
