Historic New England is a historic preservation organization which owns and operates historic house museums and properties open to the public throughout most of New England. The majority of the 36 properties are in Massachusetts, but locations exist in all NE states but Vermont. These include Castle Tucker (Wiscasset, ME), the Jackson House (Portsmouth, NH), the Spencer-Pierce-Little Farm, which (Newbury, MA), Roseland Cottage (Woodstock, CT), the Otis House (Boston, MA), the Lyman Estate (Waltham, MA), Gropius House (Lincoln, MA), and the Arnold House (Lincoln, RI). Styles represented include Federal, Colonial Revival, Victorian, Queen Anne, Arts & Crafts, and Modern, among many others. Historic New England properties are all over New England: discover thirty-eight historic sites which span four centuries of architectural styles and five New England states. Historic New England takes care of 167 buildings with 2,903 windows, 147 chimneys, 71 heating systems, and 284,228 square feet of roofs. One pass grants free admission for two adults and their children and grandchildren under 18 for a tour. Prebooking tours is encouraged, book online using the promo code on the back of the pass. The pass is single use, must be collected from the Library, and will be kept by the admissions staff upon entry.  Each museum / property has individual hours, so please plan accordingly to make the most of your visit.

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free.

Your Library pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.

Please bring your library pass confirmation (printed or displayed on a phone) when you visit. (There is no pass to collect from the Library, your confirmation is your pass.)

When you arrive at the Museum, stop at the Box Office to exchange your library pass and purchase your Exhibit Halls tickets at the discounted rate. If you have any questions or would like to reserve your Exhibit Halls passes in advance to avoid waiting in line the day of your visit, please call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily).

Wenham Museum is a history museum celebrating the treasures of childhood and New England family life across four centuries, with an emphasis on the North Shore. The museum's collections feature a world-renowned doll collection and dollhouses, costumes and textiles, model trains, antique toys, historic photographs, and the interactive Family Discovery Gallery. Admission includes a tour of the historic Claflin-Gerrish-Richards House, built at the end of the 17th century. In addition, there are rotating special programs and exhibitions. A gift shop is on the premises.
